DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe Electric Guitar Red SparkleToday’s featured guitar is the DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe Electric Guitar Red Sparkle. Below is the complete description of the guitar.

If you’re looking for a budget electric but want something with personality, Belvedere Deluxe by DiPinto Guitars may be exactly what you need. It features a double-layer semi-hollow mahogany body, single f-hole, two-tone finish, massive paddle-shaped headstock and small humbucking pickups.

The Belvedere Deluxe’s light, semihollow body provides rich resonance and percussive punch, and its mini ‘buckers deliver fat tone that still has plenty of bite. The three-position pickup-selector switch and master volume and tone controls produce everything from a raucous rockabilly twang to a sultry jazz swing. In overdrive, the Belvedere growls with a vicious bite and howling sustain that are perfect for blues dogs and rock hounds alike.

Featuring a comfortable, 22-fret painted maple neck, 24-3/4-inch scale and bound ebony fingerboard, the Belvedere’s neck feels and plays like a real vintage guitar. Although the body looks large, the guitar weighs much less than most hollow and semi-hollow electrics and is comfortable to play for hours on end. The tastefully designed single cutaway provides excellent access to the uppermost frets while it complements the Belvedere’s classic lines. Acoustically the Belvedere guitar is loud and punchy; amplified it sounds immediate and full.

The Belvedere’s distinctive retro design, combined with its many usable tones, sets it apart from other instruments on the market. If you want to stand out from the crowd and sound like a star, the Belvedere Deluxe is the best way to get noticed.

DiPinto Galaxie 4 – Los Straitjackets Electric Guitar Silver Sparkle

Dec

DiPinto Galaxie 4 - Los Straitjackets Electric Guitar Silver SparkleToday’s featured guitar is the DiPinto Galaxie 4 – Los Straitjackets Electric Guitar Silver Sparkle. Below is the complete description of the guitar.

The radical design elements of the Galaxie 4 electric guitar may require a certain sartorial confidence on stage, but much of the guitar's strength is functional. The Galaxie 4's matching tortoise pickguard and headstock ensemble, star inlays, and four (count 'em, four) pickups scream fun. But the angled headstock combines cool surf looks with the ability to maintain tension across the 42mm nut without the use of string trees. This is especially functional on the Galaxie 4, where it helps the tremolo stay in tune. This lightweight poplar guitar also balances extremely well, with the neck hanging at a very comfortable angle when you're strapped in. The maple, 4-bolt neck is attached to the headstock with a luthiers' joint. The DiPinto Galaxie 4 guitar's Jaguar style tremolo maintains the guitars tuning, bending one string doesn't throw the others out of tune, and the guitar sustains well. It has a 25-1/2" scale length and a club-like shape to the neck.If three pickups are good, four must be better! At first it might seem that the dudes at DiPinto Guitars decided to go a little nuts with the wiring set up, but, like its looks, the wiring of the Galaxie 4 electric guitar is as functional as it is freaky. The 5-way switch offers bridge pickup alone, bridge and two adjacent pickups, middle two, all four (yahoo!), or neck pickup alone. Positions 3 and 4 are hum-canceling combinations of the single coils. These guitar pickups have plenty of punch. The bridge pickup provides a nice twang but also has enough midrange to sound good distorted. Position 2 offers a fine funk tone, and the neck pickup by itself gives enough warmth for jazz combined with plenty of bite for blues. The middle two together make a unique sound that may someday be known as the DiPinto Guitar Tone, like a single-coil neck/middle combo but with more mids. The strength of the Galaxie 4 guitar lies in its style both visually and sonically. Take one of these on-stage and the audience will be talking about it for weeks. Onstage or in the studio, the DiPinto Galaxie 4 will give you a leg up on developing a sound of your own. At these prices they can be a welcome addition to your collection for that special sonic or stage occasion.

You can pick up the DiPinto Galaxie 4 – Los Straitjackets Electric Guitar Silver Sparkle at Musician’s Friend for $624.99.
