<td>The SG Gothic Morte Electric Guitar's horned double-cutaway mahogany curves are cloaked in a Satin Ebony finish with matching black nickel hardware and black Grover tuners. Gibson USA GEM active humbuckers supply the dark, foreboding tones to create an epic soundscape. As the members of Spinal Tap put it, "What could be more black? None, none more black." The beating heart of the SG Gothic Morte (morte is French for death) is represented by a pair of Gibson USA's amazing new GEM (Gibson Electronics Manufacturing) active pickups. Made in the image of the greatest traditional passive pickups of all time, Gibson's own PAF ("Patent Applied For") humbuckers, the GEMs have Alnico II magnets and coils wound with 42 AWG enamel-coated wire. They also include active electronics for greatly improved output and extremely low-noise performance. The GEMs are powered by a single 9v battery that yields approximately 1500 hours of service. They have a voice and playing feel akin to Gibson's popular Burstbuckers, with all of that humbucker's characteristic "smooth with edge" tonal response, and they are immune to the loading effects of volume and tone potentiometers. They offer an extremely fast transient response for unprecedented articulation (yet with all the classic humbucker warmth and smoothness), and are extremely compatible with both effects pedals and clean amp settings. Suitable for all styles of music, the GEM active pickups represent a huge leap forward in performance and versatility. Comprising the traditional solid-mahogany body and neck that has provided a rich, resonant platform for SG models for 50 years, the SG Gothic Morte introduces an exotic new fingerboard wood, African Obeche. A dark, dense alternative to Ebony, African Obeche is fully sustainable. As used on the Les Paul Gothic Morte, the African Obeche fingerboard carries no inlays or binding to extend the model's "none more black" styling. In addition to the guitar's Satin Ebony nitrocellulose finish, the SG Morte wears a black Tune-O-Matic bridge with a black stopbar tailpiece, black Grover tuners, and a black Corian nut which has been precision cut on the PLEK for optimum intonation. Add it up, and it's a radical reincarnation of a guitar that was born to be wild a full half a century ago - but is now propelled to greater extremes than ever with new active pickups, sustainable exotic woods and all-black styling.Mahogany body Set mahogany neck SG rounded neck profile 24-3/4" scale African Obeche fingerboard 22 frets 12" radius Gibson GEM active humbucker pickups Volume/Volume/Tone/Tone controls 3-way Switchcraft pickup selector Black nickel hardware Gibson Tune-O-Matic bridge Stopbar tailpiece Black Grover 14:1 tuners PLEK nut and fretboard setup Gibson gig bag</td>

<td>Gibson USA unveils the SG Standard 24, a guitar that captures all the classic ingredients of Gibson's great double-cutaway solidbody model, with a few clever twists to make it even more versatile for today's demanding performer. Like the best SGs of the past 50 years, the SG Standard 24 starts with a solid mahogany body and glued-in quartersawn mahogany neck, a pairing that ensures ringing sustain, superb tonal depth, and plenty of clarity and richness. The body's thin dimensions make this a pleasurably light guitar to play, while its classically beveled edges also make it comfortable on the forearm. To update the format for the 21st century, however, Gibson USA gives the SG Standard 24 the 24-fret neck that its name implies, with even the uppermost of its medium-jumbo frets easily accessible thanks to the SG's legendary deep double-cutaway design. Combine this with a beautifully ergonomic rounded neck profile, and you've got one of the sweetest playing rock machines available today. Two of Gibson's popular PAF-style '57 Classic humbucking pickups translate the SG Standard 24's sonic goodness to your amp of choice, yielding anything from deep, warm vocal tones in the neck position to endless growl and roar in the bridge, to round and snappy tones in between. The classic pairing of a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece keeps it all rock-solid and resonant, while up at the other end a PLEK-cut Corian nut ensures clean intonation and singing sustain. Top it all off with a set of vintage-style tuners with pearloid buttons, a unique "50 Years" headstock emblem, and a high-gloss nitrocellulose finish in Antique Ebony, and you've got a spectacular celebration of one of the world's favorite electric guitars, all wrapped up in an instrument you can gig with today. Each guitar includes a Gibson hardshell case and owner's manual, and is covered by Gibson's Limited Lifetime Warranty and 24/7/365 Customer Service. Check out your own SG Standard 24 today, and prepare to rock for the ages. The SG Story Way back in 1961 when the SG Standard temporarily replaced the Les Paul Standard in the Gibson line up, few were aware that a future icon of rock guitar was being introduced to the scene. Originally called the "Les Paul/SG", this radical, double-cutaway electric with two dramatic asymmetrical pointed "horns" and a thin all-mahogany body was worlds away from the single-cutaway maple and mahogany Les Paul that it replaced. It proved to have similar power, punch and versatility, but also expressed a voice all its own, one that has grabbed many heavy rock and metal players in particular, alongside countless classic rock and blues artists. By the time the single-cutaway Les Paul returned in the late '60s, the SG Standard was already a legend, and had forever claimed its place in rock history.Mahogany body Nitrocellulose Antique Ebony finish Mahogany neck Rosewood fingerboard 24 medium-jumbo frets Acrylic trapezoid inlays Corian nut (Plek cut) Mother-</td>

<td>The Gibson 50th Anniversary SG 12-string electric guitar has the look and sound of the most influential electric guitar in both Britain and the U.S. during the psychedelic era, but this one has been given the 12-string treatment. Ideal for players who want the 12-string roar of mahogany body/humbucker SG without having to shoulder the EDS-1275 of Jimmy Page fame. All of the storied 6-string SG elements are here: a mahogany with a the famous Heritage Cherry high-gloss lacquer finish and a one-piece SG-style maple neck with a SG 50th Anniversary silkscreen headstock logo. The 12" radius 22-fret rosewood fingerboard has the traditional acrylic trapezoid inlays. The 490R/490T humbuckers serve up that distinctive SG bark and bitte. Mini Grover tuners, a Tune-O-Matic bridge with hand-notched saddles, and 12-string stopbar tailpiece ensure that this 12-string beast will stay in your control. An SG 12-string hardshell case is included.A Little SG HistoryIn 1961, the Les Paul was redesigned with a thinner body and 2 sharp cutaway horns that making the upper frets more accessible while lowering production costs. The SG originally was intended as a Les Paul redesign and addressed what many considered the 2 main issues players had with the Les Paul: weight and upper fretboard access. Les Paul himself didn't like it so the Les Paul stuck to its original style and the new Les Paul design was renamed the SG Standard. Even though Les Paul didn't approve of it, countless rockers loved it and made it one of the all-time hard rockin' favorites. The new guitar was popular, but Les Paul the guitarist did not like it and asked to have his name removed. Gibson renamed the model the "SG" which was short for "solid guitar". <td>Fender's 50th Anniversary Jaguar guitar takes you back to 1962, when they introduced an unusual new guitar that paired the sleek Jazzmaster body style and elaborate control layout with a shorter scale and smaller, brighter pickups with more output. The resulting Jaguar was the fourth and last of Fenders original lineup of standard electric guitars. Perfectly matched to the early-60s renaissance in design modernism, the Jaguar gradually acquired a fascinating pedigree quite unlike that of any other Fender guitar. A chromed-out, surf-rock staple of the 1960s, it found new life from the mid-1970s-on as a subversively offbeat alternative axe wielded by punk, post-punk, grunge and alt-indie guitar heroes and anti-heroes alike. The U.S.-built 50th Anniversary Jaguar celebrates that vivid history and combines old and new into the finest of all Jaguar guitars. Highly distinctive features include the classic 24 scale length, a new one-degree neck-angle-pocket cut that improves pitch, a re-positioned tremolo plate that increases bridge break angle and sustain, and specially designed hot Jaguar single-coil neck and bridge pickups that deliver fatter tone and more output (once again framed by the models classic notched metal claws a hum-reducing innovation only found on the Jaguar). <td>Way back in 1961 when the SG Standard temporarily replaced the Les Paul Standard in the Gibson lineup, few players were aware that a future icon of rock guitar was being introduced to the scene. The SG took root fast with players looking for a sharp and powerful alternative, however, and remained a heavy rock icon in particular, even long after the LP returned to the catalog in the late 60s. The SG Diablo Tremolo from Gibson USA realizes the full potential of the furious SG design for the 21st century, retaining the classic cut of this iconic electric guitar, but adding a few contemporary twists that make it one of the most powerful and versatile rock weapons available today. With a genuine double-locking Floyd Rose vibrato bridge, 24 frets for extended soloing range, two of Gibsons most popular humbucking pickups, and a simplified no-nonsense control layout, the SG Diablo Tremolo hits all the sonic bases you need it to cover, and does so in grand style in a genuine hand-sprayed nitrocellulose finish in gloss Ebony Black. Like the best SGs of the past, the SG Diablo Tremolo starts with a solid mahogany body and glued-in, quarter-sawn mahogany neck, a pairing that ensures ringing sustain, superb tonal depth, and plenty of clarity and richness. The bodys thin dimensions make this a pleasurably light guitar to play, while its classically beveled edges also make it comfortable on the forearm. To update the format for the 21st century, however, Gibson USA gives the SG Diablo Tremolo a fingerboard crafted from North American rosewood with 24 frets for a full two octaves on every string, yielding new creative territory in the SG format. The necks slim profile measures .818 at the 1st fret and .963 at the 12th, making it superbly fast and comfortable. Cream fingerboard binding not only lends a classic look, but keeps the ride smooth for the entire journey, while the guitar comes without a pickguard to get in the way of the menace of its gloss-black finish. Two of Gibsons popular PAF-style humbucking pickupsa 490R at the neck and 498T at the bridge, made with Alnico II and Alnico V magnets, respectivelytranslate the SG Diablo Tremolos sonic goodness to your amp of choice, yielding anything from deep, warm tones in the neck position to endless growl and roar in the bridge, to round and snappy tones in between. To kick this guitars unbridled versatility into overdrive, of course, theres the Floyd Rose vibrato unit that helps to give the SG Diablo Tremolo its name. The most highly acclaimed high-performance trem available to the modern rocker, this Floyd excels at everything from dramatic divebombs to subtle evocative warbles, and stays in tune astoundingly well, thanks in no small part to its locking nut. A set of high-quality Grover tuners grace the headstock, while a simple control array of single master volume, single master tone, and three-way toggle switch leave nothing to get in the way of your fast and furious licks.Mahogany body with carved topMahog</td>

<td>During his time with The Doors, and beyond, Robby Krieger proved himself one of the most inventive guitarists in rock. His lithe, flamenco- and jazz-influenced licks and solos took the electric guitar in directions that no other popular rock artist was exploring, and constituted one of the main ingredients in a band that stood out as totally unique not only in its own time, but for all time. And throughout his career, Krieger chose a Gibson SG Standard to launch his sonic explorations. In joint celebration of this ground-breaking guitarists vast achievements and the 50th Anniversary of the Gibson SG, Gibson USA presents the 50th Anniversary Robby Krieger SG, an instrument painstakingly crafted in the image of the great 60s SGs that Krieger made his own. With all the classic ingredients of the model, a pair of humbucking pickups with phase switching, and a Maestro Vibrola with vintage-style Lyre tailpiece, this guitar is primed to help you break on through to your own creative revolution. <br /><br />To give the 50th Anniversary Robby Krieger SG the best possible tonal foundation, Gibson USA uses all Grade-A tonewoods, and crafts the instrument in the image of the finest SGs to emerge 50 years ago. Its solid mahogany has the asymmetrical double-horned deep double-cutaway design, which exudes tonal richness and depth, with plenty of clarity and sustain. Coupled with the SGs characteristic beveled edgea big part of this model's distinctive stylingthe mahoganys light weight also enhances playing comfort, and the fine grain of the Grade-A timbers used beneath the transparent Heritage Cherry nitrocellulose finish looks superb, too. The guitars quarter-sawn mahogany neck is carved in a slim but rounded profile that measures .800 at the 1st fret and .895 at the 12th. It is glued into the body with Gibsons acclaimed deep set-neck joint, and topped with a Grade-A rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and vintage cream binding. And to give this SG the special treatment it deserves, the back plate covering the controls is adorned in Robby Kriegers own musically themed artwork, while a 50th Anniversary graphic on the headstock declares the guitars pedigree. <br /><br />To give this instrument all the tone of the originals, Gibson USA gives the 50th Anniversary Robby Krieger SG a pair of the most accurate PAF-styled humbuckers available today. The 57 Classics in the neck and bridge position are made with genuine Alnico II magnets, and wound with 42-AWG enamel-coated wire just like the originals, but are wax potted to combat microphonic squeal for high-volume playing. And for added versatility, a push-pull pot on the rhythm pickups tone control provides funky phase-reverse switching. A Maestro Vibrola tailpiece gives this SG supreme performance versatility, while a traditional Lyre plate tops off its accurately retro look. A Tune-o-matic bridge with allen-key height adjustment keeps your intonation true, aided by a set of Kluson-style</td>

<td>The Robby Krieger 1967 SG Aged Electric Guitar from Gibson Custom blends several features from some of Krieger's favorite SG's into one stunning new model. Made of traditional solid mahogany, the body of the Krieger SG is typical of the thin SG bodies from the mid 1960s, complete with traditional beveled edges and the distinct dual sharp cutaway horns that give players complete access to the guitar's full 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The body is then finished in Krieger's personal favorite Aged Dark Heritage Cherry finish, which is very similar to the finish of his beloved 1967 SG Standard, and historically accurate right down to the tiniest scratches, dings and belt rash. The neck is also a typical SG one-piece mahogany neck, but with a hybrid neck profile modeled after the neck on a 1961 Gibson SG owned by a close friend and the neck on his personal '67 SG Standard. In order to duplicate his signature sound Krieger chose a pair of Gibson's renowned '57 Classic humbucker pickups. Gibson's original "Patent Applied For" humbuckers of the mid- to late-1950s &mdash: some of the most sought after pickups in the world &mdash: were wound using imprecise machines, resulting in pickups with slightly different output and tone, and desirable to players who wanted to mix and match and explore a complete spectrum of tonal possibilities. The '57 Classic pickups are the result of Gibson's drive to capture and recreate this renowned characteristic. Krieger's signature sound comes through clearly in a warm, full tone with a balanced response, packing all the tremendous "PAF" humbucker crunch expected from a Gibson humbucker.Everything else on the new Inspired By Krieger SG is classic Gibson SG Standard, including the ABR-1 Bridge and Maestro tailpiece tremolo system, nickel hardware, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with figured acrylic trapezoid inlays, and vintage tulip tuners. The Robby Krieger 1967 SG Aged will only be produced in a very limited run of 50signed and aged to look exactly like Krieger's original. The Robby Krieger 1967 SG Aged Standard is destined to become of the most sought-after SGs ever produced by Gibson Custom. Each guitar will come with its own Gibson Custom case and a certificate of authenticity signed personally by Krieger.Body Style: SG Double Cutaway with Beveled EdgesBody: mahoganyNeck: set mahoganyNeck profile: 60'sFingerboard: Bound RosewoodScale length: 24-3/4"No. of frets: 22Nut Width: 1-11/16"Radius: 12"Inlays: trapezoid on neck, Gibson logo and Holly on headstockHardware: NickelBridge: ABR-1 BridgeTailpiece: Maestro tailpiece Vibrato TremoloKnobs: black speedTuners: GroverNeck pickup: '57 Classic HumbuckerBridge pickup: '57 Classic HumbuckerControls: two volume, two tone, 3-way toggle pickup selectorFinish: Custom Aged TreatmentCase: Hardshell</td>

<td>The 50th Anniversary Les Paul Korina Tribute is a rare and unique edition to a definitive electric guitar. The Gibson Korina guitar is made from a very lightweight and musical wood called korina wood, that has come to be known as a rare and legendary tonewood among manufacturers and players alike. Here's your chance to own a special edition of a landmark Gibson Custom guitar that changed the sound of rock and blues. The Korina Tribute electric guitar has an early '50s neck profile that is rounded for comfort. The rosewood fingerboard has Gibson's distinctive trapezoid inlays. The stop tailpiece is lightweight aluminum, and the tuners are vintage tulip style with push-in bushings, just like the original. This anniversary edition Les Paul employs Burstbucker pickups, custom wound to emulate the original late '50s Gibson humbuckers. CTS potentiometers are used for volume and tone, as well as the bumblebee capacitors, custom-made for Gibson to replicate the original electronics. The Korina Tribute electric guitar receives a Custom Shop VOS finish: a thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer applied, sanded, and buffed with the same methods that were used in 1958. Nitrocellulose lacquer continues to evaporate insuring the thinnest possible finish that will never dampen vibrations and supports complex musical waveforms. Prized for enhancing the musical tone, you'll find a nitro finish on nearly all vintage and collectable American guitars.BODYBody Style: Les PaulBody Wood: KorinaBinding: Period-correct, thin single-ply cream binding on topFinish: Natural Antique with VOS nitrocellulose finishFINGERBOARDFingerboard Species: RosewoodScale Length: 24-3/4"Number of Frets: 22Radius: 12"Inlays: TrapezoidELECTRONICSNeck Pickup: BurstBucker 1Bridge Pickup: BurstBucker 2Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone, 3 Way Switch, NECKStyle: Set-inSpecies: LimbaProfile: 50s RoundedPeghead Pitch: Angled Headstock - 17 degreesNut Width: 1-11/16"Neck Joint Location: 16thHead Inlay: The Gibson LogoTruss Rod: Adjustable HARDWAREPlating Finish: Gold-PlatedTailpiece: FixedBridge: Tune-O-MaticKnobs: Gold Top HatsTuners: Kluson VintageCase: Hardshell</td>
